Meaning of Keys used to Create Audio Files  
 
Key  
Meaning  
 
Play key, starts music playback  
 
Stop key, stops music playback  
 
Stops music playback and the test  
 
Fast Forward key, jumps 10 seconds ahead in the music being played. This key is ignored if the piece of music is shorter than 10 seconds.  
 
Mark Start of Channel 2 key; marks the start of the voice announcement while playing back the music on channel 1.  

 

Memory Capacity and Voice Quality of the EVM  
The EVM provides a memory capacity of up to 120 minutes for announcements and voice messages, depending on the set voice quality.
If you select "high quality", the memory capacity will be exhausted faster than for normal voice quality.
The "HiQuality" codec (HiPath 3000) is not supported in Version 06.xxx of the EVM!
